Trusted Neighbor^§ is a new ADT service that lets you grant secure, temporary access to your home through the ADT+ app, providing real-time alerts, video clips and a full history view. It helps give you peace of mind and is the latest example of our commitment to empowering you to protect and connect what matters most.

Easily grant and automate event-based or scheduled access to your home for neighbors, friends and helpers.^§

• Via the ADT+^®app, you can notify trusted people of events such as an alarm trigger or an unexpected package, and give them temporary access.
• You can preset an access window for planned guests so that you can go about your day without being interrupted to unlock and rearm your system.
• Get full visibility of what happens at your home with real-time notifications, video and activity history, plus seamless entry with tap to unlock.

§ Trusted Neighbor features require ADT Complete (includes Nest Aware) pro monitoring plan, Google familiar face detection, ADT Base, and compatible smart lock and camera devices. Familiar face detection is not to be used as definitive identification, and is not available on Nest cameras used in Illinois. Customer is responsible to inform their trusted individuals of any dangerous conditions existing at the premises.

To enable Trusted Neighbor^§ you will need a Yale Smart Door Lock, Google Nest Doorbell, the latest ADT Base and a subscription to Complete Monitoring.

You control who has access to your home, when and for what, all through the ADT+ app. 

With timed access, you enjoy the convenience of setting times when someone can enter your home. Perfect for visiting guests, home maintenance workers, or dog walkers. 

With event access, neighbors are alerted to the events you choose and granted temporary access to your home to take care of the issue. Perfect in situations where you’re away from home and you want your neighbors to bring in a package or turn off the water if a water leak is detected.
