What types of alerts are available?

There are three types of alerts available:

1. Event alerts: This allows you to be notified when something happens for a specific device alarm or events. When a particular device detects a change, such as a door opening or someone entering a room, the system can send an alert.

2. Exception alerts: These types of alerts notify you when an action or event does not occur within a specified time period.

3. System event alerts: These include any changes in the system, such as a system configuration change, a device that is tampered with, a server connection that is lost, a low battery, or a problem with the system.

What additional types of alerts can I set up?

• An alert can be created to notify the owner when the system is armed, disarmed or in the absence of that event happening.

• An alert can be created to notify owners that the thermostat has fallen above or below a specified temperature.

• No alerts can currently be created to notify owners that a light or appliance did not turn on or off.

How many notifications can I receive per event?

You can assign up to three email addresses and up to three mobile phone numbers for text messages.

Can I have a camera record or capture a clip to accompany the alert?

Yes, you can specify that a picture or video clip accompany the alert. In that case, the email message contains the picture as an attachment or a link to the video clip. Note: Due to their short length and text-based content, text messages do not include picture attachments or video clip links.

How many alert notifications can I set up?

There is no limit to the amount of alerts you can set up.

How many custom schedules can I set up?

There is no limit to the amount of schedules you can set up.

What options do I have when setting up a schedule for my security panel?

The security panel can be scheduled to arm stay, arm away or disarm.

• Repeat an action daily or only on certain days of the week

• Action to occur at a specific time of day or at random times within a time range throughout the day

• Action repeatedly at certain intervals: every 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes; every hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours

What options do I have when setting up a schedule for my cameras?

A camera can be scheduled to record a 30 second video clip or capture a picture.

• Repeat an action daily or only on certain days of the week

• Action to occur at a specific time of day or at random times within a time range throughout the day

• Action repeatedly at certain intervals: every 30 minutes, every hour, every 2 hours, every 4 hours, every 8 hours or every 12 hours

What options do I have when setting up a schedule for lights and /or appliances?

A light or an appliance can be scheduled to turn on and/or off.

• Repeat an action daily or only on certain days of the week

• Action to occur at a specific time of day or at random times within a time range throughout the day

• Action repeatedly at certain intervals: every 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes; every hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours
