It’s pie season! Whether you’re lucky enough to be celebrating the holidays with your whole family or you’ll be baking for a few friends this season (or anywhere in between) we have some great holiday recipes for you.

Patience’s pecan pie is an excellent addition to our holiday recipe lineup. The simplicity of the recipe means that juggling a young sous-chef, other plates, and this pie can be completely conquerable.

Some pies are an all-day task. Whether it’s boiling down juices, pitting cherries, or searching high and low for the perfect ingredients. There is a time and place for those pies, but this pie is special in the pure ease of baking it. Simply add all your ingredients in the order listed, mix thoroughly, and pour into your pie crust. While it’s baking, you can wash the one bowl and spoon it took to mix everything in, then bask in the glorious smell that is pecan pie filling your house.

We hope that baking this pie brings you joy this holiday season and that we can help you celebrate safely at home. For more recipes, activities, and tips for staying safe at home for the holidays, visit our Safe at Home Facebook group. We look forward to having you in our community!
