Movie nights on the couch and extra Safe at Home family time calls for the ability to act on a sweet tooth at the drop of a hat. For your next sweet snack, reach for that crescent roll tube in your fridge and transform it into @themarysarge's creamy, chocolatey treat. These easy danish pastries are low-cost and only require simple ingredients, making it a perfect treat to surprise your family with this weekend.

Start by forming crescent rolls into tiny bowls: once you break the seal on the crescent roll tube, carefully remove the outer wrapping while keeping the dough rolled tightly. Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into eight even pieces, then use your thumbs to gently press down in the middle of each dough-disk.

Once you have your bowls, you can fill them up with this delicious mixture of cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and sour cream and top them with extras of your choice. Our favorite toppings are chocolate chips and coconut flakes; The chocolate gets all gooey and the coconut adds its unique texture. If you don’t like coconut, we still recommend adding something to give it a crunch!

If you have kids to feed or are just craving a delicious snack yourself, this recipe can be whipped up in under thirty minutes, requiring only a few ingredients and minimal energy. Your family will drool over the mix of flavors and run back for seconds in no time.
