The ADT Base and the security system’s sensors also include features that help ensure operation for several hours during a power outage, such as 24-hour battery backup. Google Nest cameras and doorbells will automatically store up to one hour of recorded events in its local memory. You will also receive notifications upon loss and restoration. Plus, automate event-based or scheduled access and notify trusted people of events with the ADT+® app. Auto unlock uses location-based services from the trusted person’s phone in tandem with familiar face detection via the Google Nest Doorbell to verify their identity and unlock and disarm your home. You can also use Auto unlock yourself as a hands-free way to get into your home.
