“I have ADT for two and half years and got the door alarms and sensors included in my service package. But they never put glass breaking alarms and an alarm on my basement door. Then I had a complaint because a couple of the sensors fell off the doors which caused an alarm because the independent contractor just took off the old ones that I had from Time Warner Security and put on ADT's. They were in a hurry and just wanted to get in and out, and get their money. But all other contractors were perfect. When I talked to someone three months ago, they sent an ADT employee to my house and found out that the contractors didn't bother to screw the sensors in like they should have. They just stuck them on so I ended up using clear tape to have them stay up. But ADT's employees were always helpful and courteous. They addressed the issue I had. One of ADT's selling points is the comfort of knowing that I have a large company that has been around for a great number of years. I got immediate responses from their people with not only my regular landline phone that we're talking in now but also through my cellphone when I haven't been here. But they might want to look at their advertisements telling everybody that they're installing the system for free. Anybody who looks at that knows it isn't true because it is $850 in value to have someone rewire the whole house rewired. And most of the stuff they have, especially the alarms, are wireless. They also have to make sure that they know the subcontractors. Other than those, I have recommended ADT and several of my associates have purchased their products. I'm happy with the service I've received and with the price that I'm now paying”
