Keep an eye out for deceptive sales practices

ADT is the leader in home security. And while we operate to the highest ethical standards, some of our competitors don’t always follow suit. During the summer, you’ll sometimes get a visit by someone selling security systems door-to-door. And sometimes they use deceptive sales practices to try and steal you away. We want to help you spot the potential fraudsters and keep your home protected.

How to verify if someone is from ADT

All ADT sales representatives, technicians and authorized dealers will wear company attire, and display their official ID. If someone isn’t displaying their ID and claims to be from ADT, you can use this tool to verify their license or ID number.

Quickly search and confirm an ADT Authorized Dealer’s license number.

Search the ID number to verify they’re an ADT employee.
