Features and Functions

• One Z-wave controlled AC outlet for standard incandescent lighting or dimmable CFL/LED
• Remote ON/OFF and Brightness control via the Z-Wave controller
• Manual ON/OFF and Brightness control with the front panel pushbutton
• Load-Sensing turns the light ON if the switch on the connected light is used instead of the remote or pushbutton on the Z-Wave module (default setting is disabled)
• One Always-ON pass-through AC outlet
• Space efficient design
  • Does not block the lower outlet when plugged in to the upper outlet of a duplex wall receptacle. (This assumes that the duplex receptacle is mounted with the ground pin down.)
  • Plugs and cords for connected devices route to the side allowing close placement of furniture
• Grounded 3-wire power connection for safety
• Connect to your Control or Pulse system via Z-Wave to turn the a light or device on/off 
  
• Within the Control or Pulse app, create rules to turn the switch on/off at set times, or when certain activity occurs, such as a door opening/closing or the system is armed/disarmed.

CONTROL

Control app

• Turn your device on or off from the Switch icon on the dashboards
• To dim or brighten the light
  1. Tap the hamburger menu
  2. Tap Lights
  3. Use the slider to set the brightnes

Control Portal

• To create a rule to control the status of the switch, such as turn on when the front door is opened or there is an alarm at the home
  1. Log into the Control portal
  2. Click Automations
  3. Click Rule
  4. Click Add Rule
  5. Select Event-triggered Rule
  6. Select the criteria for the rule, then click Save

• To create a schedule to set the status of the switch at specified times, such as turn on at sunset, or turn off at a certain time of day
  1. Log into the Control portal
  2. Click Automations
  3. Click Schedules
  4. Click Add a Schedule
  5. Select the criteria for the schedule, then click Save

PULSE

Pulse app

1. Tap the Switch tile on the dashboard, or tap the hamburger menu, then tap Lights and Switches
2. Tap to turn the switch on/off or use the slider to dim

Pulse Portal

• Quick Rules are a predetermined set of rules that can be turned on or off. To use Quick Rules to control your l.ight
  1. Log into the Pulse portal
  2. Click on Rules
  3. Click on Quick Rules
  4. Locate the desired rule and click the On/Off button to turn the rule on or off
     
     
• Automations can be used to create your own rules, to turn the switch on/off at certain times, or when certain events occur
  1. Log into the Pulse portal
  2. Click on Rules
  3. Click on Automations
  4. Click on Add Automation
  5. Select the criteria for the automation, then click Save

Installation and Setup

Congratulations on your new Jasco Dimmable Smart Switch

Follow the instructions below to install your switch, and link it to your Control or Pulse accoount.

1. Plug the Smart Switch into a standard electric outlet
2. Plug the device to be controlled into the Z-Wave outlet on the Smart Switch

Control

1. Open your Control app
2. Tap the hamburger menu on the upper left
3. Tap Add Device
4. Tap Lighting and Appliance Control
5. Tap Jasco Smart Plug-in Dimmer
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to link your device

Pulse

1. Open your Pulse app
2. Tap the Manage Devices tile. If you do not see the tile, tap the hamburger menu in the upper left. Tap Settings, the tap Manage Devices.
3. Tap Add
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to link your device
