What data and videos does it store?

The Keypad does not store video footage or personal data. It functions solely as a control interface that communicates with the Base. The keypad may temporarily store basic operational data, such as the last user code entered or recent system commands, to ensure smooth functionality. However, it does not retain or display video from ADT cameras.

What happens if my Wi-Fi or power goes down?

The Keypad will continue to function if your Wi-Fi goes down. It communicates wirelessly with the ADT Base using a secure local connection, not your home’s Wi-Fi network. As long as the Base remains powered and connected, the keypad can still arm and disarm your system, trigger alerts, and display system status.
