Yes, all ADT cybersecurity solutions have a three-year contract.

Yes, all ADT cybersecurity solutions have an upfront install cost. The install cost varies by the cybersecurity solution you buy.

You can use a valid credit or debit card or ACH as a payment method.

After your purchase, you’ll receive an email with your order details.

To finish configuring and installing your managed security solution, we’ll need to collect some technical information about your network. A certified ADT cybersecurity engineer will call you  to get the correct information, at a time that’s convenient for you. The call should take 15-30 minutes, and our engineer may need to connect remotely to your computer during the process – but only with your approval.

Once we have all the information, we can configure your custom-managed security device and deliver it to you. On the day of the installation, an ADT technician will work with you to make sure everything is properly installed and operational.

After the firewall device is successfully installed at your business, you’ll receive a welcome email from ADT with instructions to create your online account. Or you can visit www.myadtcybersecurity.com to set up your account. You’ll need your ADT Cybersecurity account number, site number and email address. Using this portal, you can download user guides, access firewall reports or submit tickets to get help.

Firewalls create virtual barriers to protect networks. They do this by inspecting and controlling incoming and outgoing Internet traffic and allow or block traffic based on whether it conforms to predetermined security rules.

A VPN creates a personal network that enables users to send and receive data that’s shielded from shared networks through encryption techniques. Having a VPN is like having a personal, private and secure browser on public Wi-Fi networks or anywhere away from the office. Applications running across a VPN benefit from the functionality, security and management of the private network.

Managed Service Providers, or MSPs, have traditionally provided Managed Network Services. These services have traditionally consisted of maintenance of network infrastructure and endpoints (break – fix), consultation and provision of software and cloud services such as Office 365, email, website hosting, etc. A managed service provider can remotely operate, monitor, configure and adjust the management of their client’s network as an ongoing service for a monthly fee.

Deep packet inspection, or DPI, is the process of looking inside packets and examining or extracting information. Older firewall models only inspected the “header” or packet labels, but next-generation ADT firewalls inspect ALL of the network data units (packets). Security-applied DPI can optimize network traffic, prevent cyberattacks and give network managers an overview of typical network behavior.

ADT Cybersecurity is here to help support you every step of the way:

  • You will need to submit a ticket on the online cybersecurity portal or call our Customer Care team at 1-800-238-2727.
  • An ADT Cybersecurity personnel will walk you through the procedure, which involves visiting a unique user webpage based on the particular IP address of your network.
  • A “client” (a residual software program) is quickly downloaded onto your device and the connection is then configured and activated.

ADT Cybersecurity’s provisioning process makes installation of a next-generation firewall a simple task. But, so we can provide you with an extra level of service, an ADT technician will install it for you “on-premise” as part of the service:

  • We’ll ship the firewall device to your business location once it has been provisioned according to your network configuration.
  • On the day of the installation, an ADT technician and a network engineer will install the firewall device at your location. Please make sure you have read the instructions for installation day and are aware of the process.
  • Once connected to the Internet, the firewall can be recognized as “active” on ADT Cybersecurity’s Global Management system.
  • Over the course of 10 minutes or so, the ADT Cybersecurity technician will ensure that all settings are correct, and that the firewall is performing correctly.
  • Should any further changes be required, we can do them remotely from our Network Operations Center.

After the firewall device has been successfully installed at your business location, you’ll receive a welcome email from ADT with instructions to create your online account. You can also visit www.myadtcybersecurity.com to set up your account. You’ll need your ADT Cybersecurity account number, site number and your email address.

Once your account is set up, you can access the ADT Cybersecurity portal at www.myadtcybersecurity.com. Using this portal, you can:

  • Download user guides
