1. How do I set up custom text and/or email alerts?

Here's how to set up customer text and email alerts:

1. Log into your ADT Pulse portal and click Add Alert in the Alerts tab
2. In the Select Alert Type window, choose When something happens, click OK
3. In the Add Automation window, select a trigger, such as a window, motion sensor or front door
4. Then select the Event, and choose when you want the trigger to be active
5. Also select if you want a text message added to your alert
6. Click Save, you'll now receive an alert anytime the trigger is activated (when the front door is opened)
