The ADT Pulse Garage Door Control allows you to open, close and check the status of your garage door from almost anywhere. 2. How do I use the ADT Garage Door Control? The ADT Garage Door Control allows you to open or close your garage door using your ADT Pulse touchscreen, or remotely via the web portal or Pulse mobile app. 3. Is the ADT Garage Door Control compatible with my garage? The ADT Garage Door Control is compatible with many automatic garage door opener connected to a sectional garage door. Please Contact ADT to speak with a representative about compatible models. 4. How does the ADT Garage Control work? The Garage Door Control connects to ADT Pulse, via a Z-wave communication, and to your mounted garage door opener unit. Once connected, the controller works like your current garage door button. Simply press the icon on the app and the door will open or close. 5. How will I know when the door is ready to move? As a safety feature, when you trigger the door to open or close, a warning indicator light flashes and a beeper sounds for 5 seconds before the door begins to move. 6. How do I enroll my ADT Garage Door Control device? At this time, the ADT Garage Door Control is not available for a do-it-yourself installation. Please Contact ADT customer service and speak with a representative to schedule an installation visit. 7. Is this product under warranty? Yes. The Garage Door Control product is covered under ADT’s extended warranty plan. 8. Can I set up my system so that my garage door closes automatically? This product gives you complete garage door control via your ADT Pulse account. As with other ADT Pulse-supported products, you can create automations that put your garage door on a time schedule for your family, or create a program to close it automatically when you arm your system.
