No, only a month to month agreement is required for Identity Protection service. 12. What Should I do after I purchase my Identity Protection subscription? The credit and identity fraud monitoring service are specific to you (name, date of birth and SSN). 15. Do I get notified if my credit card is being used frequently? No. However, for the credit card numbers you have enrolled, dark web monitoring will alert you if your credit card number is found on the dark web. 16. If I don’t have a SSN, can I still get credit monitoring if I enter a Federal ID (ITIN)? Unfortunately, a SSN is required for credit monitoring. A Federal ID (ITIN) won’t allow you to proceed and register. 17. What should I do if I get an alert? If there’s no activity on my credit report or my personal information, will I receive a periodic status report? You’ll receive a monthly status e-mail confirming that no changes have occurred. 21. Will I receive an alert when my credit score changes? You won’t receive an alert if your score changes, however you’ll receive alerts as changes are made to your credit file, which is what would cause the change in your credit score. 22. Can I choose how I wish to be notified of an alert? Yes. When you enroll, and any time during your subscription, you can select either email, SMS or both as your preferred alert method by clicking on EDIT PROFILE on the Digital Security by ADT monitoring portal. I cannot access the myadtdigitalsecurity portal on Internet Explorer. The myadtdigitalsecurity portal is not compatible with Internet Explorer.
