With the ADT medical alarm system, elderly adults and those living with a disability can live independently in the comfort of their own home. Read how the medical alarm system prevented a family tragedy for one real ADT customer:

ADT installed an alarm system for my 83-year-old mother who lives alone. We were concerned about her deteriorating sense of security and thought a medical alarm system with a personal pendant would allow her to feel more secure.

Shortly after the security monitoring system was installed, my mother decided she was going to rearrange the furniture in the house. She decided to move a ping-pong table situated in the middle of the recreation room. As she pushed the table across the room it collapsed, pinning her hand in between the two wooden slabs of the table. Unable to free herself from the table, she called out for help to no avail. She then used her personal pendant to call for help.

Like clockwork, ADT summoned the police who arrived within 15 minutes to find my mother incapacitated by the table. The police freed her from the table – with only a few broken bones in her hand.

My mother and our family would like to take this opportunity to thank ADT. Without the people at ADT doing the good work that you do, our ordeal could have ended very differently.
